The first SpongeBob Comics Annual will be in stores on June 19. With stories and art by talents including Chuck Dixon, Ramona Fradon, James Kochalka, Mark Martin and Jerry Ordway, I'd happily buy a copy! But I don't have to: I have a story in it, and they're sending me comps! Suckers!

Appleseed Con

This Saturday, May 11, I'll be a guest at Appleseed Comic Con in Fort Wayne, Indiana. The show hours are 10 AM-6 PM. I'll be drawing sketches and selling prints and original art. Look for me at table D1, right across the aisle from Super Dave Wachter, who painted the cool print above. Or maybe I'll see you at the Tin Caps game on Friday night.

This Saturday is FREE COMIC BOOK DAY!  I'll be at two comic shops in Chicago, schmoozing, signing comics, and drawing sketches.

New Print!

Here's a new print which I'll be debuting this coming weekend at C2E2 (at table A11 in Artist Alley). I'll bring any extras to my two Chicago appearances on Free Comic Book Day, Saturday, May 4: Third Coast Comics (morning) and Vigilante Press (afternoon). And, if there are any left,  I'll have the print on hand at Appleseed Comic Con in Fort Wayne on May 11th. It is also currently available online at Pseudo Press.

Oh, say can you C2E2?

Once again I'll be a a guest at C2E2, the Chicago Comic and Entertainment Expo. I'll be at table A11 in Artist Alley. The convention is being held April 26-28, but I will only be there the 26th and 28th, though my table will be manned all 3 days. I'll be drawing sketches and will have original art and limited edition prints available. Sunday is kids day, and I'll be doing free sketches for youngsters all day. Please stop by and say hello!

The Dark Fish-Knight Surprises

A dark and gritty--yet silly--panel from the Silver Age Mermaid Man and Barnacle Boy story by me and Chuck Dixon. It casts a soaking wet shadow on the upcoming issue of SpongeBob Comics, #19, on sale the second Wednesday in April.
